KOWON Plastic Surgery is a rhinoplasty-focused clinic on the 2nd floor of the KBL Building, right by Exit 1 of Sinsa Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Kim Hyung-taek has focused on nose surgery alone since 2002 and personally handles every step: consultation, surgery, treatment and aftercare.

Signature procedures include RIBFIT™, an autologous implant made from the patient's own rib cartilage, finely diced and shaped to fit the nose; implant-free rhinoplasty; drooping tip correction that treats the muscle pulling the tip down when smiling; J-Curl rhinoplasty correcting the nasolabial angle; and nose thread removal to resolve thread-lift complications. The clinic also treats low, hump, short, long, bulbous, deviated and wide noses, alar reduction and revision rhinoplasty.

Operations are limited to two a day, and the next case begins only after the previous patient has recovered. The operating room has CCTV, and the clinic keeps chemical, high-pressure steam and EO gas sterilisation, real-time ECG and oxygen saturation monitoring during surgery, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), an AED and oxygen support, with regular emergency drills. The clinic does not recommend surgery that is not needed.
